SUMMER WORKSHOPS

CLASS INFORMATION and FEES

 

Ages 4/5 years  

50 minute class meets

Monday AND Tuesday 3:30-4:20

FEE: $30 per week OR $100 for 4 consecutive weeks 


Age 6/7 years

60 minute class meets

Monday AND Tuesday 4:30-5:30 

FEE: $35 per week OR $120 for 4 consecutive weeks


Ages 8/9

Tuesday 6:15-7:15

FEE: $70 per month (4 consecutive classes)

CREATIVE FUN!

With projects in a variety of mediums and subjects your kiddos won't will be in Art heaven this summer!


Artists  will be exploring a variety of subjects, realistic drawing skills and the use of mixed media.  Materials may include chalk/oil pastels, art markers, colored pencils, collage and watercolor.  Older students may also be exposed to graphite pencil/charcoal.  


Quality art supplies are furnished.

Each week will be a new adventure for young artists as they draw creative works of art that go along with each weeks theme.  Students will learn the basics of line, shape and color as they use their unique creativity to draw creatures and places both real and imagined!

Artists will create personal works of art as they travel through artistic lands and discover creatures and people from far across the globe.  Students gain skill and knowledge using a variety of mediums to create their own personal masterpieces!

Laying a great artistic foundation the Elements of Art will be the focus of this summer workshop series.  Artists will learn the basics of line and color as well as shading and form to create 3 dimensional projects.  

Students will learn and understand how to incorporate new found skills and techniques into a final project in the medium of their choice. These classes are designed to give each artist the opportunity to gain artistic knowledge and skills while being encouraged to develop their own personal, creative style.
